Are there any regulations on day trading?
In the US a pattern day trader must have more than 25000 in his margin balance or he can’t day trade with more than 6% of what he has in his account. Are there any regulations on day trading/day traders in the UK?
As a day trader in the US I can say it would be a stress position with only $25,000. Even online the commissions would eat your alive.
Stats show that 90% of the day traders lose money. I do not use a margin account and have access to 100% of what is in my account.
